At 17 people were killed and 39 wounded as churchgoers attended Sunday worship, officials say. The Congolese military blamed the attack on the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF).

Prayers

Father, we pray for divine protection for all churches in this nation; let every attack of the enemy against Your church be destroyed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Let this situation turn for a testimony and cause the churches in this nation to grow mightily, in Jesus Christ name (Luke 21:13, Acts 16:5).
